Fruška Walk & Wine 2026

The Fruška Gora Wine Walk – Fruška Walk & Wine 2026 will take place on September 26, 2026, in Sremski Karlovci, bringing together the authentic wines of Fruška Gora, beautiful nature, and the rich cultural heritage of this historic town. Fruška Walk & Wine is much more than a walk – it is an experience that showcases the traditions and wine culture of the region through wine, gastronomy, music, and fascinating stories.

The walk starts in front of the Tourist Organization of Sremski Karlovci Information Centre, with departures every hour from 11:00 a.m. Participants will receive a starter package including a wine glass, route map, the Fruška Gora Wine Route brochure, tasting vouchers, and a souvenir. Groups of up to 50 participants will be led by experienced guides, who will share interesting stories about winemaking and the cultural heritage of Karlovci along the way.

The circular route features six tasting points, where a total of 18 wineries from Fruška Gora will be presented. In addition to wine, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy local specialties and live music. The route passes through the Baroque historic centre of Sremski Karlovci, the Court Garden, and surrounding vineyards, offering a unique opportunity to discover both the town and its wine-growing region. At the end of the walk, participants will be able to purchase, at the Information Centre, the wines they particularly enjoyed during the tastings. Comfortable footwear is recommended, and the programme is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over.

The event is organized by the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina, in cooperation with the Association of Grape and Wine Producers with the Geographical Indication “Srem-Fruška Gora”, with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism, the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci, and the Tourist Organization of Sremski Karlovci.
